
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) in German language (Technische Universität München) is a research university with campuses in Munich. TUM was established in 1868, and founder of this institute was Ludwig II of Bavaria. Currently, 41000 students are enrolled in this university. The best university in German was ranked by QS world university rankings in 2020 edition, in 2017 European Most Innovative University ranking TUM is ranked 4th.
In 1901 Granted the right to award doctorates. After this in 1930 Integration of the College of Agriculture and Brewing, Within a five year of duration between 1949–1954 Reconstruction of the main building of the university of technology by Robert Vorhoelzer, construction of a new administration building and library.
Then in 1967 Establishment of a faculty of medicine, The German Institute of Science and Technology was established in Singapore in 2002 after three years the Technical University of Munich for Advanced Study started. capability as an academic stronghold of technology and science, the Technical University of Munich has played a crucial role in Bavaria’s evolution from an agricultural state to an industrial state, nowadays, it is still the only state university assigned to technology. Many excellent TUM professors have attained their place in the history of technology, many important scientists, architects, engineers and entrepreneurs studied in TUM.
University offers undergraduate and graduate programs, for foreign and domestic students.
Educational faculties are divided into three campuses of TUM in the bigger Munich area. The Main Campus in central Munich buildings and the faculties in this campus are Architecture, Medicine, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Economics, Social and Sports Sciences, and the second one campus is located in Garching, nearly 10 km north of Munich, and the faculties are in this campus exists Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering, as well as the Garching research reactor.

The third campus of TUM is placed 35 km north of Munich in Weihenstephan, and faculties of this campus are Landscape planning, Architecture, Biology, Agricultural Science and Horticulture, Forestry and Resource Management, Brewing and Food Technology, Nutrition. TUM has currently over 175 worldwide partnerships
